The French Chinese Foundation for Science and Applications (FFCSA) was founded in 2001 within the Academy of Sciences to promote France China cooperation in the field of science and its applications.
In consultation with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and in cooperation with the China Scholarship Council (CSC), the FFCSA has set as its primary mission to organize exchanges of post-doctoral students between the two countries.

FFCSA’s Club
Since 2002, a hundred Chinese post-doctoral students have been selected by a French jury from the best universities in China for internships in laboratories of excellence in France. Back in China, they have benefited from a favourable evolution of career and maintain, for many of them, relations with the host laboratories.
Since 2005 the FFCSA has created an alumni Club, in order to gather the post-doctorants fellows and promote exchanges, with 3 Chinese co-presidents and one French.
